The Library is incredible - the staff are really friendly and they really try their best to help you. Currently in first year and have loved every second. It is a really great university with great surroundings and clubs to join. Campus is massive, students union is great in organising stuff to do, Really enjoy being in the city at the centre of everything. The campus locates in an excellent location, middle of the city centre, which is very easy to go. The teaching staff is excellent both professional yet understanding and helpful at any time. It isn't a good environment if you've got sensory needs and problems. Did my first year here doing chemistry and hated every minute of it, there wasn’t much help from the lecturers and the halls weren’t great either. Literally best university choice could of picked. Trent is is an amazing uni with easy access to everything, especially the frequent buses between campuses. If there's a book you want that they don't have, they'll typically order it in from another library for you, or even buy it for the library at no cost to yourself. I enjoyed my first year at NTU! There are a lot of facilities, such as a huge library, student lounges, Student Union with a café and a night club, Global Lounge for international students. Really great UNI, great location as well. Joined in September, loved it, the tram system around Nottingham makes it super accessible and easy, and being based in the middle of city centre makes it alot more enjoyable as plenty of places to eat near by and shopping centers. Student Services are really helpful - they looked over our second year house contract and basically advised us that the company was rubbish, so helped us find a new one. It became a polytechnic in 1970, and was granted university status in 1992. They offer so much to everyone and there is always something to do! My experience with the university was trying to apply for a master to complete my studies and they informed me that I needed 3 years of work experience in a managerial position. Brillant infrastructure, Great Faculty,Beautiful campus. The uni is slap-bang in the middle of the city, so you're essentially in the middle of everything - unless you're at Clifton or Brackenhurst, in which case you're somewhat removed from things. The nightlife in Nottingham is definitely one of the biggest perks for picking Trent, you're not going to be left disappointed, Ocean Wednesday's, Rock City Thursday's and SU on Saturday's are some of the best night outs in the country and I've never had a bad one at Trent!
